Female Police Officers Earn Praise Online After Rescuing Abused Woman
A group of female police officers in Bataan earned praise online after they rescued a woman who had been a victim of abuse.
Recently, the Facebook page Philippine National Police reported that several female cops rescued a woman who had been a victim of abuse. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The rescue began during what was supposed to be a simple patrol duty. While passing along Roman Superhighway in Orion, Bataan, officers led by Provincial Director PCOL Marites A. Salvadora noticed a woman walking alone in a vulnerable state.

The woman introduced herself as Ces, a 34-year-old resident of Sabatan, Orion, who had just experienced abuse from her husband and was left unclothed on the road.
Without hesitation, PD Salvadora and her team stepped in to help. They offered her a jacket, shoes, food, and water to make sure she felt safe and cared for. They then brought her to the Orion Municipal Police Station, where the Women and Children Protection Desk took over to ensure she received proper support and protection.
Police officials expressed appreciation for the quick and compassionate response. They highlighted that real service means being ready to protect those who cannot defend themselves and to act with both strength and empathy.
The incident reminds all women experiencing abuse that help is always available. The PNP encourages victims to speak up and reach out, assuring them that assistance is accessible at any time.
The Women and Children Protection Desk in every police station operates 24/7 and is ready to provide safety, guidance, and immediate help.
