The Pinay actress Agot Isidro has slammed President Rodrigo Duterte over its statement on increasing rape cases in Davao City.

Agot Isidro is a popular Filipina actress who is also known as one of the most vocal critics of President Duterte and its administration.

Recently, the Filipina celebrity has lambasted and expressed her disappointment towards the president again on her Twitter account.

Isidro even called Mr. Duterte as garbage showing her opposition to the current administration because of its latest statement.

The 52-year-old actress criticized President Duterte over its statement “Basta maraming maganda, maraming rape” regarding the increasing cases of rape in Davao City.

“Ingon sila nga daghang rape ang Davao. Basta daghang guwapa, daghang rape (Ang sabi nila marami raw rape sa Davao. Basta maraming maganda, maraming rape),” Duterte said.

PNP data shows that Davao has the highest rape cases compared to other cities.

Davao City police chief Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum explained that recorded rape cases mostly happened inside private places wherein police security is weak.
