Lloydie and Direk Cathy worked together in various movie projects in the past. Their tandem was able to create blockbusters films that are still vivid to movie goers until now.

This year, the prominent director was able to work with the tandem of KathNiel in the movie ‘The Hows of Us’.

During the recent press conference of the romantic film, Direk Cathy revealed that there is a new John Lloyd Cruz in her life now.

Based on the article published in Star Cinema, the director said: “Si Daniel, nagiging John Lloyd na siya ng buhay ko. Nakakaaway ko na siya.”

The box-office filmmaker added that it is because she is able to fight with the son of Karla Estrada now.

“The closer you get to a person, mas nag-aaway na kayo. Mas nagkakaroon ng dahilan mag-away, kasi nga hindi na trabaho lang, nagiging personal,” she said. “So nasasaktan na niya ako, nasasaktan ko na siya. Kasi kung trabaho lang, pakialam ko sa kanya?” she explained.
