Daniel Padilla reacted to ‘The Hows of Us‘ director Cathy Garcia-Molina’s statement about new John Lloyd Cruz in her life.
Previously, the box-office filmmaker shared that Daniel has become the new JLC to her. She said that it is because their relationship behind the camera has leveled up.
Now, their bond is tighter than ever. “Si Daniel, nagiging John Lloyd na siya ng buhay ko. Nakakaaway ko na siya,” Direk Cathy said.
She also revealed the reason why Daniel Padilla is the new John Lloyd Cruz in her life.
“The closer you get to a person, mas nag-aaway na kayo. Mas nagkakaroon ng dahilan mag-away, kasi nga hindi na trabaho lang, nagiging personal,” she said. “So nasasaktan na niya ako, nasasaktan ko na siya. Kasi kung trabaho lang, pakialam ko sa kanya?” she explained.
Direk Cathy said this during the press conference of her new movie with KathNiel.
Upon saying this, Daniel’s reaction brought curiosity to the reporters who were present during the event.
The 23-year-old actor was laughing hard about the revelation of the movie director.
When Direk Cathy was asked how the young actor hurt her, Daniel took the microphone and answered the question.
He said that sometimes his seriousness on the set affects the mood of the director.
“Minsan nakakalimutan naming nagtatrabaho na kami, parang tropahan lang kami dun eh,” the son of Karla Estrada shared.
As Daniel Padila was saying this, he can’t help but laugh about it.
However, he also said that the point comes that he will realize that it is enough already.
“Opps, minsan parang sobra na, mali na pala,” the young actor shared his realization.
