Based on a previous article, Lakam sought to lower her bail, and this motion was granted by a Quezon City court.

On September 24, Lakam’s arraignment was held at the Quezon City Hall of Justice, which was attended by the Kapamilya actress. While initially not granting any interviews, she eventually broke her silence.

After attending the arraignment, the actress shared her emotional response and explained why she decided to pursue legal action over their business. The actress admitted that she was deeply hurt by the ongoing legal dispute involving her older sister.

She opened up about the difficult situation and acknowledged that people may have different opinions about her decision to take legal action. She also explained that there are matters she cannot discuss publicly because of the ongoing legal proceedings.

However, as per her, the dispute was never about her personal money. Instead, she explained that the case concerns House of Little Bunny Philippines, Inc. (HOLB), a business she helped establish in 2023.

According to the actress, the company was built through years of hard work, sacrifices, and dreams. She also shared that she had hoped the business would become part of her future after she eventually steps away from show business.

She stressed, “This is a business I worked so hard to build, and I believe that going through this legal process should never take away the company’s right to stand up for what is right, protect what the company have worked for, and seek accountability through the proper legal process.”

She further clarified that the complaint filed by her legal team covers only the period from January to July 2025.

The actress noted that there are still many details about the situation that she has chosen not to disclose publicly.
