Kim Chiu Confirms Leaving Seat During Film’s Premiere, Speaks Up About Issue

KIM CHIU – The Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu finally speaks up as she confirmed that she was indeed asked to leave the seat during “Miss Granny’s” premiere.

Miss Granny” is this year’s one of the most-anticipated and much-awaited films starring Sarah Geronimo, Xian Lim, Nova Villa, James Reid, and among others.

Last August 21, the film held its premiere having other celebrities such as Nadine Lustre to support boyfriend James, Bret Jackson, Kim Chiu to support as well her onscreen partner and rumored boyfriend, Xian Lim.

However, a certain video has recently surfaced involving the Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu and a fan.

As per the video shared, the actress was seemingly asked by a fan to vacate the seat. Allegedly, the fan who asked her to leave the chair is the one assigned to be seated at the particular chair with a designated number.

Accordingly, the actress was stunned and eventually left the seat and transferred.

Thus, in a Twitter post, Kim has clarified the issue and confirmed the allegations. She was indeed asked to leave.

Kim wrote in the post, “[Yes,] this is true, pinaalis kami, but all went well naman… ok lang yun… tama naman si ate/kuya may seat numb naman talaga siya. kaya kami nalang lumipat… lets talk about how good the movie is not this very small incident, nothing biggy. parehas naman po kami nakanood.”

In the comment section of the post, her followers have commended her for being so “humble” and “understanding”. Some were just disappointed that the organizers have not allotted seats for her and Nadine considering that their respective partners were on the film.
