JULIA BARRETTO – Young Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto was asked who she likes better between her aunts Claudine Barretto and Gretchen Barretto.
One of the prominent families in the Philippine showbiz industry is the Barretto. Sisters Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine are well-known and even their children most especially the rising star Julia Barretto.
Based on a report, she is having a flourishing career with young actor Joshua Garcia. They have done lots of projects together including the movies Vince And Kath And James, Love You To The Stars And Back, Unexpectedly Yours, and I Love You, Hater.
Having a celebrity status, some issues in the Barretto family are somehow not a secret to the public but the people have also witnessed how they defended each other from other people’s criticisms.
The Barretto cousins have also remained in good terms despite the issues between their moms.
Gretchen Barretto has one daughter, Dominique, while Marjorie Barretto has five children – Dani, Julia, Claudia, Leon, and Erich. Claudine Barretto has three children – Sabina, Santino, and Quia.

Recently, based on a report on Pep, during the press conference for her upcoming TV series Ngayon at Kailanman with Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto was asked to choose who she likes better between her aunts Gretchen and Claudine.

Julia had a very heart-melting response. According to the young actress, she loves both of her aunts “equally”. She stressed that they have taken care of her when she was growing up so she cannot choose between the two of them.
Based on the report, Julia Barretto admitted that it is inevitable for her not to be compared to her family members who became part of showbiz before her. Meanwhile, the young actress is hoping that she will also be able to make her own name.
“I grew up in the shadows of my titas, my mom, my dad [Dennis Padilla]. Pero I only hope that someday I will be able to make a name for myself, and I will be recognized for my work and not my last name,” she said.
Julia Barretto revealed that she went through a lot of negatives before she get to where she is now, before she even met Joshua Garcia. Meanwhile, she acknowledged that those molded her to be the person that she is now.
“It leads us to somewhere good. Actually, that’s God na,” she said.
