Latest Weather Update On Thursday (August 2) Released By State Weather Bureau PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather update regarding the country’s current weather condition.

On Thursday (August 2, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the southwest monsoon will still affect parts of the country.

The weather agency announced that the “Habagat” would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and ARMM.

The southwest monsoon would bring cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned the residents living in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the weather bureau also advised the fisher folks over southern Luzon and the Visayas that sea travels remain risky due to moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.
