Xian Gaza sentenced to five years in jail.
XIAN GAZA – The famous internet star Xian Gaza was charged guilty for violating the Bouncing Check Law which sends him to jail for five years and six months.
Xian Gaza has become an internet sensation after posting a photo of him with a billboard on the background asking the Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales to have a coffee date with him.
However, based on a previous report, the actress declined the offer citing controversies about the businessman and long messages for her in social media which made her uncomfortable as the reasons.
It has also been found out that Gaza and Ella Cruz had something in the past but the actress clarified in an interview that they were just business partners and just friends.
And previously, he surrendered to the authorities following two arrest warrants have been issued against him.
After his voluntary surrender, according to a report from the ABS-CBN, the rumored scammer was charged guilty for violating 11 counts of Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 or otherwise known as “The Bouncing Check Law”.
He was then charged five years and six months of imprisonment and will pay the complainant over P2,180,000 and litigation costs.
The 24-year-old personality can appeal the decision within 15 days.
On his Facebook account, he posted statement which said, “Karma is real. What you do now will come back to you in the future. Life has a funny way of making you deal with what you make others go through. Babalik at babalik din sayo lahat kaya magbago ka na habang hindi pa huli ang lahat kagaya ko.”
