PAGASA Says Low-Pressure Was Area Spotted Within PAR

The state weather bureau PAGASA has spotted a low-pressure area (LPA) within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) could affect the country’s weather condition.

On Wednesday (June 27, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that a low-pressure area has been spotted at 190 kilometers west of Clark, Pampanga.

The weather disturbance was expected to bring moderate rain over Mindoro and Palawan. The residents in the affected areas were also advised to be prepared for possible flash floods in low-lying areas.

Weather Condition

Thunderstorms with heavy rains are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country. The inclement weather condition might cause flooding and landslides in these areas.

Another low-pressure area was seen east of Luzon and expected to enter PAR tonight.
