Concerned Citizen Shares Photos of Metro Manila Flash Flood
FLASH FLOOD – Some parts of Metro Manila was struck by thunderstorm leading to flash food on Thursday.
Recently, the social media platforms were filled by posts about the flash flood in some parts of Metro Manila. Photos of the affected areas circulated online. Visibly, lots of people were stuck and vehicles had to cross the flooded streets.
The flash flood was caused by the thunderstorm that brought heavy rain. It affected the traffic in certain areas and lots of people had no choice but to wait for the situation to get better.
Recently, on Facebook, a netizen behind the username ‘Ichiban Mayoralgo’ shared photos taken from different areas during the flash flood that struck parts of Metro Manila. The netizen admitted that these were just “grabbed” photos and are credited to the rightful owners.
Based on the social media post of Ichiban Mayoralgo, among the flooded areas in Metro Manila are SM North EDSA, Eton Centris, Quezon City Circle, Visayas Avenue, EDSA Balintawak, Taft Avenue, Quirino Highway Novaliches and Luzon Avenue.
España Boulevard and Sta. Mesa are also visibly affected by the flash flood. Here are the photos shared by the concerned citizen on the online platform:
