Here are the photos of the aftermath of magnitude 6.1 quake that hits Western Japan on Monday morning (June 18, 2018).

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake has struck Osaka, Japan taking the lives of at least three people and halted trains and factories across the region.

The powerful tremor caused heavy shaking that registered a lower 6 on the Japanese scale of 7.

Osaka’s trainways and subways were halted suspending the operation of bullet trains linking Osaka to Tokyo.

About 170, 000 houses experienced blackout due to the strong quake but the power was quickly restored.

However, there is no major damage has been recorded yet and no tsunami alert has been raised.
