PAGASA Announces Friday (June 8) As Start Of Rainy Season
The state weather bureau PAGASA officially announced the start of wet or the rainy season in the Philippines.
On Friday (June 08, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced the start of the rainy season.
The weather agency made the announcement after the occurrence of widespread rainfall in the country during the past few days because of the southwest monsoon.
PAGASA senior weather specialist Chris Perez has also confirmed the declaration of the wet season in the country.
Dry periods or also known as monsoon break that last for few days to two weeks might follow the rainy season.
