Daphne Osena-Paez has marked a career in television for being a news reporter in the ABS-CBN in the 1990’s and eventually finding her haven as television host-cum-producer for a string of successful lifestyle programs.
She continues her endeavor as a lifestyle blogger, an entrepreneur for her self-named jewellery and home line, and as Unicef Special Advocate for Children.
She is married to former ABS-CBN broadcast journalist and senior producer Patrick Paez of whom she had three daughters with namely Sophia, Lily, and Stella.

And recently, she captured the attention of the netizens after sharing her experience in a restaurant.
On her Twitter account, she shared, “So I bought coffee for me and a cupcake for my daughter. I asked for service water. They said they can’t give water, I have to buy bottled water. I said “Miss, bawal yan. By law you have to give me water. I’m a customer ” Naman. Let’s all try to do the right thing.

In another post, she indicated, “Seriously, Manila retail & restaurant scenes please level up and treat customers like they are your lifeline they really are. Without happy customers, your businesses will go bust. We all have to grow up and be civilized. Dont make damot water from a customer. It’s a basic right.”

Moreover, she stated that malls should be providing its customers clean and cold water where they could just have their refill instead of encouraging them to buy bottled water.
