Kitty Duterte & Paolo’s 2 Kids Got Dengvaxia Vaccine Shots
Veronica “Kitty” Duterte and two of Paolo Duterte’s kids had also received the controversial Dengvaxia vaccine shots that take the lives of about 87 children.
On Tuesday (May 22, 2018), Special Assistant to President Christopher “Bong” Go said that the mother of Kitty and Paolo’s two kids confirmed that the children had received the Dengvaxia shots.
However, Go said that he had no idea whether the children had received the three doses of the dengue vaccine.
“May nagtanong kanina kung na-inject raw ba si Kitty at ‘yung dalawang anak ni Paolo, kinonfirm naman po ng mga nanay nila na positive po na-inject po,” Go said quotd by MSN.
Kitty Duterte is the only child of President Rodrigo Duterte with Honeylet Avanceña, while Paolo has a total of five children.
The government’s dengue immunization program has been canceled by the Department of Health (DOH) after the French drugmaker Sanofi Pasteur revealed that the vaccine could harm recipients who did not have a prior dengue infection.
DOH said that there are about 891, 000 children from public schools were vaccinated with Dengvaxia vaccine.
87 children have already died from dengue infection and other diseases a few months after receiving Dengvaxia.
