JAMES YAP – The basketball star player James Yap has defended his birthday greeting to son Bimby which triggered ex-wife Kris Aquino.
James Yap and Kris Aquino were formerly married but their supposed-to-be-happy-ending has ended.
They got a son and he is popularly called Bimby.
He just recently turned 11 years old.

And his father, the professional basketball player James Yap has greeted him through the Instagram.
His birthday greeting to his son indicated, “Happy birthday Bimb! I miss you and think about you everyday. Alam ko na ang tagal na natin di nakapagspend ng time together, at di nagkikita, but i want you to know that I’m always here for you. I will always be your papa. I hope you enjoy your birthday!”

To which the statement has irked Kris Aquino especially the one where he said that it has been so long since he saw his.
Thus, Kris lambasted him in a lengthy post in the said social media platform.
In a previous report, Kris has stated in an Instagram post as well, “Eh humirit ka w/ your birthday post. So bakit nga ba hindi kayo nagkikita? Ganito ka simple- wala ka nang pakinabang kay Bimb. Wala na kasi kaming “power” so bakit ka pa didikit? Madali kung gusto mo.”

And in an interview with Pep, James has defended his birthday greeting and insisted that there is nothing wrong with it.
“Wala naman yatang masama dun kapag i-greet mo yung sarili mong anak. Tsaka na-miss ko siya. Wala naman atang masama dun… sariling tatay mag-greet sa sariling anak,” he said as quoted by the source.
