North Korean Kim Jong-Un Watches K-Pop Concert In Pyongyang
The North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong-Un has watched the South Korean artists who performed at a K-Pop concert in Pyongyang.
In a rare event, the communist country leader Kim Jong-Un has attended and watched the concert of K-Pop singers, which was held in Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-Un watched the K-Pop concert together with his wife Ri Sol Ju and give a round of applause for the performances, according to Unification and Cultural Ministry press pool.
It was the first time after a decade that a musical delegation has performed in North Korea, which coincides with the preparation of Pyongyang and Seoul for the upcoming meeting of Kim and South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
South Korean culture minister Do Jong-hwan said that the communist leader shows much interest in the show and even asked about the lyrics of the songs.
North Korean personalities including Kim Yo Jong, Kim Yong Nam, Choe Hui, Ri Son Gwon, and Kim Chang Son have also watched the concert.
Kim Jong-Un was alleged the first North Korean leader who watched the performances of the South Korean artist, according to the official news agency Yonhap.
The musical delegates from South Korea were also set to perform again on Tuesday (April 03, 2018).
