Filipino Seafarer Allegedly Mauled By Foreign Coworker
A Filipino seafarer was allegedly mauled by his fellow coworker during duty and immediately rushed to a hospital in Ravenna, Italy.
Recently, the Facebook page “Marino ph” has shared the story of a Pinoy seafarer who’s a victim of mauling incident implicated by a Greece national.
The Pinoy seaman was identified as Nestor Alkuino Sr., a seafarer who was mauled by his fellow employee who’s a Greece national during working hours.
According to the other employees of the shipping line, the perpetrator is a violent person and a nephew of the owner.
Alkuino was immediately rushed and confined at the Bufalini Hospital Chirurgia Maxillo Facciale in Ravenna, Italy after the incident.
The Filipino worker was also set to undergo a plastic surgery because of a broken nose and cheekbones he suffered from the mauling incident.
Hymn Alkuino, the Pinoy seaman’s daughter was asking for help and prayers for the fast recovery of her father.

Papa Nestor Sr Alkuino, an OFW/ SEAFARER, was a victim of a mauling incident by a Greece national, happened yesterday, while ON DUTY in their SHIP somewhere located in a PORT in RAVENNA, ITALY. The perpetrator is his coworker, who, according to other coworkers, is a NEPHEW OF THE SHIP OWNER, a BRAWLER and a VIOLENT person.
Papa was rushed and confined at BUFALINI HOSPITAL CHIRURGIA MAXILLO FACCIALE in RAVENNA, ITALY, and is scheduled to undergo a plastic surgery due to a broken nose and cheekbones.
We need HELP to at least CHECK his situation at the BUFALINI HOSPITAL CHIRURGIA MAXILLO FACCIALE via a visit or via a phone call.
