Pinay OFW Went Home But Her Kids Didn’t Recognize Her Anymore
A Pinay OFW named Leizel Antonio returned home to be with her family but her children didn’t recognize her anymore.
Leizel Antonio, a 32-year-old Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) has shared her hardships of working abroad and sad experience after returning to her home.
The Filipina worker wants to give her children a better life in the future because her husband’s daily earnings are not enough for their expenses.
The OFW also revealed that they do not even have their own house and her husband’s parents want them out of the house.
Leizel worked as a domestic helper and experienced tough working conditions from her foreign employers.
The Pinay migrant worker revealed that the children of her employer slapped her and sometimes would spit on her face.
After two years of working abroad, the Pinay worker has decided to go home to be with her family. Unfortunately, her children didn’t recognize her anymore having a lot of questions about how she looked.
“Napatawa na lang ako noong sabihin ng bunso ko, ‘hindi yan ang mama ko kasi kulot ang mukha niya.’ Ngiting ewan ang naramdaman ko noon. Napakasakit na nagmamalimos ako ng pagmamahal nila. Naiyak ako sa tawa at lungkot,” Liezel said.
