OSCARS 2018 – The names to receive the Best Actor and Best Actress has finally been announced along with other lists of winners of the Oscars 2018.

Academy Awards or also known as the Oscars is a set of 24 awards for artistic and technical merit in the American film industry.

This is given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to recognize cinematic achievements.

In worldwide entertainment, this is the oldest awards ceremony.

Its equivalents are the Emmy Awards for television, the Tony Awards for theater, and the Grammy Awards for music.

And the 90th annual Academy Awards was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Based on a report from the Inquirer, Frances McDormand bags Oscar for best actress for her role in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” which told the story of a woman filled with rage seeking for answers over her daughter’s murder.

And the Best Actor Awards goes to Gary Oldman for his portrayal of Winston Churchill as Britain’s prime minister in May 1940 in “Darkest Hour.”
