Magnitude 7.5 Earthquake Jolts Mexico
A magnitude 7.5 earthquake has struck Oaxaca, Mexico on Saturday (February 17, 2018, PH-Time), according to U.S Geological Survey.
On Saturday, a major earthquake has struck South and Central Mexico shaking numerous buildings, offices, and establishments.
The people immediately leave the building trying to escape the disastrous calamity, which set off the quake alert systems.
The crowds have gathered on central Reforma Avenue in Mexico City as the powerful tremor shakes the area.
The major earthquake has a preliminary magnitude of 7.5 with an epicenter located about 2 kilometers southeast of Pinotepa in Oaxaca State and has a depth of 43 kilometers.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that as of now, there is still no destructive tsunami threat from the quake.
