Dead Body Of Suspected Filipina Maid Found Inside Freezer In Kuwait
The dead body of a suspected Filipina maid has been found inside the freezer of an abandoned apartment in Kuwait.
Last Wednesday (February 07, 2018), the remains of a suspected Filipina domestic helper has been discovered inside a freezer of an apartment in Kuwait, but the authorities were still investigating the case.
However, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that the body was still under investigation to found if the dead body was really a Filipina.
The authorities believe that the dead body was already frozen in the freezer for more than a year.
The discovery of the body has been reported over the impending state visit of President Duterte in Kuwait next month to sign an agreement for the additional protection of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), which was announced by Malacañang Palace.
The police authorities discovered the corpse while serving the court order to send the tenant out of Salmiya apartment.
The apartment where the suspected body of dead Filipina has been found was allegedly owned by a Syrian woman and Lebanese man with a Pinay maid.
The couple leaves the apartment in 2016 because of the arrest warrant served against the Lebanese man.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said that President Duterte’s visit to Kuwait is one process after talking with Kuwait ambassador to Philippines Saleh Ahmad Althwaikh.
