JM DE GUZMAN – The interview of Korina Sanchez with JM De Guzman on Rated K focusing on his addiction allegedly irked the Star Magic.
Last week, in an exclusive interview, the actor JM De Guzman faced Korina Sanchez in Rated K to answer the rounding issue about his addiction to drug use and his rehabilitation.
The interview was entirely focused on his life starting his first used of drugs through the influence of his friends to his first rehabilitation, on his relapse, going back to the rehab center, and out again.
To which has allegedly irritated the ABS-CBN particularly the Star Magic for focusing on such matter instead of talking about moving on as they prefer on talking on the positive side when it comes to him as per the source.
“Overwhelmed pa rin ako sa lahat, sa suporta ng mga tao,” JM said due to the fact that he was given opportunities despite his addiction.
He further added, “We are prioritizing po ‘yung recovery. Nandun naman po ‘yung full trust ko, at alam ko naman po na mabibigyan ako ng tamang project. Excited na rin po akong makapagtrabaho.”
His wish as he is back again in the field of acting is to have his hit movie with Angelica Panganiban, That Thing Called Tadhana, a second part.
“Never po dumapo sa isip ang mag-quit. Actually, lagi kong gustong lumabas o gustong bumalik. Pero umabot sa point na may pag-asa pa ba? Mabibigyan pa ba ako? Parang ganun na ‘yung self-defeating thoughts. I went through that process na labanan ‘yung thoughts na ‘yun,” he stated.
