December 8 (Friday) No Class, No Work Confirmation

Here is the confirmation for no cl(–foul word(s) removed–), work speculations in selected areas in the Philippines on Friday (December 08, 2017).

Malacañang Palace has declared December 08, 2017 (Friday) as a special non-working holiday in some selected areas in the country to give way in celebration of local events.

Proclamation No. 358 has been issued by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea with the approval of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as Taguig City marks their Cityhood Anniversary.

Confirmation

Proclamation No. 372 has been also declared as a special non-working holiday in Batac, Ilocos Norte on Friday.

Special non-working holiday has been also declared in Agoo, La Union as it marks the municipality’s 439th anniversary.

Antipolo City, Rizal was also included on the areas covered by the special holiday as it celebrates its 426th founding anniversary and Antipolo Town Fiesta.

Friday is also a special non-working holiday in Angeles City, Pampanga as it celebrates its 188th anniversary.

Meanwhile, the cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in Colegio de San Juan de Letran (Manila), University of Santo Tomas, and Holy Cross of Davao College have been also suspended.

However, the proposed bill to acknowledge the “Feast of Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary” as a special non-working holiday still needs the approval of the Senate and President Duterte before it becomes a law.
