Filipino Actor Robin Padilla, Wife Mariel Rodriguez Picks President Duterte As Baby Isabella’s Ninong
The Filipino action star Robin Padilla and his wife Mariel Rodriguez have picked President Rodrigo Duterte as Baby Isabella’s ninong (godparent).
On Thursday (November 2, 2017), Baby Isabella, the daughter of the actor Robin Padilla and his celebrity wife Mariel Rodriguez has finally entered the Catholic world after her baptism at the National Shrine of St. Michael and the Archangels.
Kaye Termulo-Garcia, the sister of Mariel is also one of the Baby Isabella’s ninang who uploaded the photo of the one-year-old baby’s Catholic baptism.
However, Garcia also wrote in the caption that her niece had also a Muslim baptism as well and asked the netizens to refrain from negative comments.
The celebrity couple picked together President Duterte as one of Baby Isabella’s ninong (godparent).
Aside from President Duterte, Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes, Magandang Buhay host Karla Estrada, director Joyce Bernal, Karla Estrada, Nadia Montenegro, and Piolo Pascual are the godparents of Baby Isabella.
The baptismal ceremony and reception were held at the Malago Clubhouse in Malacañang Park, which was attended by the couple’s families, closest relatives, and friends.
