Southern China gets hit by 6.3-magnitude earthquake.

SOUTHERN CHINA – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 has hit the southern part of China near the Indian border early morning of November 18.

According to a report from the South China Morning Post, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck the Southern China.

It shook the region which is just near the city of Nyingchi in southwest China.

Based on the source, it has a depth of about six miles (10 kilometers) in the Tibetan region, about 36 miles (58 kilometers) northeast of Nyingchi. china

The epicenter was within 150 miles (240kms) of the Indian towns of Along, Pasighat, and Tezu.

The source said that the USGS announced that a 6.3-magnitude earthquake is considered to be strong that could possibly cause severe damages.

As of press time, there were no immediate reports about damages and casualties.
