Senator Trillanes Spotted Wearing Two Watches Upon Visiting DBS Bank in Singapore
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV was spotted wearing two watches during his trip in Singapore to debunk the allegations of having offshore bank accounts.
Trillanes has been the headlines of the issues and controversies after several news outlets and social media pages exposing evidence and proofs of his alleged offshore bank accounts containing a huge amount of cash.
The lawmaker allegedly deposited his money in various banks in different countries such as Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Hongkong to hide his alleged ill-gotten wealth and being tracked by the Philippine government.
On Tuesday (September 19, 2017), the incumbent Senator flew to Singapore to debunk the allegations of President Duterte against him of having bank accounts abroad. He also expressed his willingness to prove his innocence through exposing his alleged account in public.
The 46-year-old politician went to a branch of DBS bank and Singapore and as expected the teller told him that there’s no existing bank account number such as 178000296012.
However, it is noticeable that the lawmaker is wearing two watches on both of his left and right hand upon arriving in Singapore.
We can conclude that one of the watches stands for Singaporean time and the other one was for the Philippine time, but Trillanes might have a good reason for wearing two watches at the same time.
