The alleged proof of hidden bank accounts of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV abroad goes viral after it was posted in the social media.
Previously, a local news outlet has exposed the alleged offshore bank accounts of Senator Trillanes, who was known for being the poorest in the Philippine Senate. The lawmaker declared in his Statement of Account Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) that he has only a P5 million worth of assets, which make him earn the title as the poorest senator in the country.
Filipino netizens were shocked on the huge amount of cash deposited by the politician in different banks abroad, which was shown on a social media page.

Trillanes allegedly deposited in different bank accounts in countries such as Netherlands, Switzerland, Hongkong, Singapore, New Zealand and Canada. The remaining balance of the alleged bank accounts was only checked last August 30, 2017.
Recently, the Facebook page “Rodrigo Duterte for President National Chapter” has uploaded the photos, which was dubbed as the proof of the existence of Trillanes hidden bank accounts abroad.
The name of the depositor was covered in the photos for his protection as $50 deposited to each of the suspected accounts were turned out to be active. While two returned deposits signify that the bank accounts have been closed.
