Harassment charges against Noven Belleza dropped by the victim herself.
NOVEN BELLEZA – The indecent assault which has been filed against TNT champ Noven Belleza for the previous months was dropped by the alleged victim herself.
According to a news report from the Sun Star, the 19-year-old woman who filed the charges also dropped the accusations and the charges.
The case was filed and reached the Regional Trial Court in Cebu last July.
And for the apparent reason that she is no longer interested to pursue the case, the case was dropped to which she accordingly told Judge James Stewart Himalaluan.
The complainant’s affidavit says, “After my sober and soul searching (–foul word(s) removed–)sment and analysis of this case, I have realized that I have reached the point that I am no longer interested in pursuing the case due to inordinately adverse effects it brought to me and my family.”
According to a previous report, Belleza, 21 years old, face charges of indecent assault he allegedly did to fellow entertainer during the concert of Vice Ganda in Cebu City.
The report wrote, “Prosecutor Ma. Theresa Casiño found evidence to charge Belleza with r*pe under Article 266-A, paragraph 2 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act 8353 (s*xual assault).”
Noven Belleza was able to get out of the prison after he bailed himself out and paid the amount of P120,000.
What was also written on the complainant’s affidavit indicated,“In my earnest desire to achieve peace of mind, I am permanently withdrawing my complaint against the accused.”
The affidavit was prepared by Attorney Janice Lape, the complainant’s lawyer.
On another previous report, allegedly, the girl’s name is Nashy Casas. She is also a fellow contender of Noven Belleza during the champ’s journey in Tawag ng Tanghalan.
