In an interview with the press, he was all praises for the award-winning singer despite he was not chosen to host the show.

“Wala akong masabi kay Kuya Ogie. Sobrang humble, sobrang bait ni Kuya Ogie,” he said.

“Kasi nung in-announce na nila sa akin na napunta sa akin yung programa, ang unang nag-text sa akin, si Kuya Ogie,” he added.

“Sabi niya, ‘Bro, I’m happy for you. I’m so proud of you. I will always be right here behind you anytime you need me,” Billy Crawford continued.

Little Big Shots is an American talent show which features kids with varying talents such as singing, dancing and etc. The show is co-created by Ellen de Generes and Steve Harvey and distributed internationally by Warner Bros.

According to an article published by PEP.ph, it was the bosses from the entertainment company who chose the 35-year-old TV presenter to host the Philippine edition of Little Big Shots.

Little Big Shots will premiere this coming August 12, replacing the time slot of recently concluded The Voice Teens.

Meanwhile, Billy Crawford also refuted rivalry issue between him and Ogie Alcasid.

“Si Kuya Ogie, simula bata pa lang ako, kilala ko na si Kuya Ogie. It’s nothing about competition talaga… I’m still shocked na napunta nga sa akin,” he said.

“Pero wala akong masabi kay Kuya Ogie,” he added.
