The newly crowned Miss International Philippines 2017 Mariel de Leon could not help but react to the appointment of Mocha Uson.
MARIEL DE LEON – The newly crowned beauty queen reacts on the Presidential Communications Operations Office appointment to Mocha Uson as secretary.
The beauty queen’s opinion about the matter was posted on her Twitter account.
On her account, she first re-tweeted the post of Jan Daniel Belmonte which says, “Our government is legitimizing its fake news campaign. Wala na talagang hiya, harap-harapan ang kalokohan.”
The beauty queen re-tweeted as well the report of the The Philippine Star regarding the news which has a caption saying that the former dancer and blogger is now the assistant secretary of PCOO.
When a fan and a follower asked her view about the matter she just said that she loves her country but it was so sad to know that the country “has come to this”.
She even added, ” There are so much issues happening in our country now so I’m glad that I have the platform now to voice out my opinions.”
And she even stated that a lot of people who are resdpected and respectful deserves her place.
Indeed, the beauty queen is really disappointed of the reports.
A follower asked her once again as to how she defines her, referring to Mocha.
And she answered, “Biased and disrespectful. She insults those who are against her. I’m not for her, I’m not for the other side (whatever that may be)”
And she continued that she is “for the truth and for her country”.
She even said that she hopes for the change to come and she even stated that the reason why the country is not evolving because some people care about the “superficial than what rally matters” and for her, it has always been the country over the crown.
