Kobe Paras Defends Decision On Choosing Cal

The Filipino basketball superstar Kobe Paras has justified his decision on choosing Cal State Northridge after leaving Creighton University.

Previously, the 6-foot-6 prodigy has decided to leave Creighton University and the school has granted his request after careful thought and consideration. The papers of the young player have been released and immediately returned to the Philippines.

Paras leaves Creighton after he saw limited playing times with Bluejays. He only played 15 out of 35 games and average 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds. The Filipino prodigy will spend the month of May in evaluating new collegiate opportunities.

Earlier, the Filipino basketball icon verbally committed to play with Matadors of Cal State Northridge. His decision was a part of his NCAA journey in the United States. He is also excited to be back on the court again.

Paras defends his decision on choosing Cal State and shared the reason in returning to the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. “I believe Cal State Northridge has an amazing program,” said by Paras in a video made available by TFC Balitang America quoted by Philstar on Wednesday (May 10, 2017),

The basketball player decided to play for Matadors, who’s currently coached by Reggie Theus, the former player of the Chicago Bulls in the NBA and also a former coach of the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the NBA D-League.

CSUN also plays in the Big West Conference including Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State. Matadors have also two NCAA tournament appearance. But Paras needs to attend summer cl(–foul word(s) removed–) at Cal State Northridge in order to be eligible to play for his new team.
