The 9 years old student of the Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School swept off the floor of gymnastics as he brought home 5  gold medals from this year’s Palarong Pambansa.

According to the report of the ABS-CBN News, a lot of people were surprised to see how he was able to slay the sports of flexibility and balance.

Yulo and his grandpa Rodrigo Frisco was already expecting that he is going to nail the said sport.

As mentioned in the report, his grandpa stated, “Medyo in-expect namin na mananalo siya, angat talaga siya iba. Hindo man sa height pero sa skills.”

(We were expecting that he is going to win, he is above the others. It may not be in height but in skills.)

Eldrew, as he was usually called by those people who knows him personally, started training in gymnastics in his earlier years and it was due to the influence of his brother who is a part of the national team of the Philippines.

He started doing the sports when he was just in kinder and started joining for competitions on his 2nd grade.

Based on the report Eldrew said that he competed on Manila Meet during his Grade 2 and snatched 4 gold medals from his fellow competitors.

However, he stopped in the said sports when he got injured in the head. He did not stop his pursuit in the said sports though because he wanted to be like his brother.

His grandpa even added that he is so close with his brother to the extent that he got in into that sports because he was inspired by his Kuya Caloy.

He is dreaming of becoming an Olympian and then be a coach after that.
