Meanwhile,  the controversial blogger is currently making rounds online after she was spotted shopping while wearing the traditional Islamic outfit (jilbāb and hijab).

On Tuesday, Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella confirmed that the blogger-turned-MTRCB member is one of the official delegation of Duterte in his Middle East Visit.

Abella also clarified that the singer-dancer was included on the visit as a “blogger.”

“She has a large following among the overseas Filipino communities, especially in the Middle East, and it is in their interest that she has come to help boost morale and well-being,” the speaker said.

According to Abella, Mocha Uson’s inclusion in the official delegation in the first leg of Duterte’s trip in the Middle East was based on the request of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the transcontinental region.

“They wanted to have fellowship with her. So it’s just a question of basic fellowship and encouragement,” he noted.

On Monday, Mocha Uson took to social media where she posted a video of her on board the presidential plane along with the members of Presidential Management Staff and the Cabinet secretaries.

The 34-year-old lead vocalist of the renowned girl group, “Mocha Girls” was included in the official delegation and not the media delegation of which according to Rappler.com arrived first in the region.

  1. In these modern days, as a woman you can do whatever you want if you have confidence. For example if you are a Muslim woman you will definitely be facing difficulties about your clothing. You just have to be confident about whatever you wear, no matter where you are.
