Ferdie Magalang released an information regarding the arrest of Sen. De Lima.
DE LIMA – Ferdie Magalang spoke to the media regarding the arrest of Sen. Leila De Lima by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arresting team.
The warrant of arrest that has recently been issued against Sen. De Lima by the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204 has sparked lots of news reports.
Based on a recent news report in Inquirer, the media officer of Sen. De Lima, Ferdie Magalang, has already spoken to the reporters and told them that the lady Senator has until 10:00 o’clock in the morning, Friday, to remain in her office before she will have to allow the CIDG Team arresting team to do the move and arrest her.
According to the senator’s media officer, it is the deal made between the CIDG and Jose Balajadia, the Sergeant-At-Arms of the Senate.
Based on the report, the officers who will arrest the lady Senator has come to her residence in Parañaque on Thursday night, however, Sen. De Lima was not there as she went back to her office. The lady Senator justified that she feels “unsafe” if she will be arrested on that night.
She will supposedly be at her residence on Thursday night and then return to the Senate on Friday for her arrest as agreed by Department of Interior and Local Government Sec. Ismael Sueño and Senate leader Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III according to Sen. De Lima based on the report.
However, the plan suddenly changed allegedly due to the decision made by Philippine National Police Chief Director Gen. Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa.
“The fact na si General Dela Rosa mismo ang nag desisyon, hindi ba boss niya dapat si Secretary Sueno? So may nag-overrule na mas mataas,” the lady Senator said according to the report.
[The fact that it was Gen. Dela Rosa who made the decision, Sec. Sueno is his boss right? So someone higher overruled.]
Based on a previous news report, the arrest warrants issued by the Muntinlupa Court was not only against the lady Senator but also against Ronnie Dayan, the alleged ‘bagman’ of the Senator who is now facing allegations of her involvement in the drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison, and Rafael Ragos.
