‘Piso Para Kay Leni’ is a campaign set by the former presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda to help Vice President Leni Robredo in her case versus former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Way back in the election 2016, there was a close fight between Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The then vice presidential candidates alternatively lead surveys and partial results.
At the end of the race, the wife of the former Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary, the late Jesse Robredo, was elected as the vice president of the country.
Yet everything never ended there. Sen. Marcos filed an election protest against VP Leni and even opted for a recount.
A recent report entailed that Supreme Court recently released a 10-day span for the Vice President to answer the election protest filed by the Senator against her.
Considering the money to be used in the case, VP Leni admitted that she does not know where to get it as it would be costly.
Though a lot of lawyers have pledge to defend her in court even without the attorney’s fee, still the Vice President feels embarrassment on her part to be defended without having something to give them in return.
