Dawn Zulueta’s Family Threatened For Supporting Bongbong Marcos

Dawn Zulueta’s family allegedly received threats for supporting Bongbong Marcos.

Family of kapamilya actress Dawn Zulueta was threatened for supporting the vice presidential bid of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos last May election.

According to a Philstar report, Zulueta’s husband  Davao del Norte Representative Antonio Lagdameo is asking the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for protection for his family after allegedly receiving threats.

In a letter wrote by his lawyer Rudolf Philip Jurado to the NBI, Lagdameo is also asking “kind assistance in protecting (Lagdameo) and in uncovering the identity or identities of the person or persons behind these threats.”

The report said that Lagadameo have been receiving threats last May 16. He also received another message on May 26, saying that Dawn Zulueta was being stalked by four people.

Another man also attempted to get hold of their son Jacob on June 22, but the security escorts foiled the attempt.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Rudolf Philip Jurado confirmed the report, adding that messages are now being investigated by the authorities.

Lagadameo and Zulueta are known supporters of Bongbong Marcos during the election. The actress even posted several photos with the son late dictator Ferdinand Marcos on her Instagram account.

Marcos lost the vice presidential race to Liberal Party’s bet Leni Robredo.

The inauguration of President and Vice President will be held on June 30. President-elect Rodrigo Duterte refused to agree on joint oath-taking. Duterte is also a close friend of Marcos.
