The Sorsogon PDRRMO stated: “Local government units and the public are reminded that entry to the 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) is strictly prohibited due to the possibility of sudden and hazardous steam-driven or phreatic eruptions,” the Sorsogon PDRRMO said.

The province of Sorsogon through the provincial disaster management office also advised civil aviation authorities to provide adequate notice to pilots, as ash from the Bulusan eruption may be hazardous to aircraft.
