Volcanic Eruption In Gamber Indonesia Left The Whole Town In Ashes
Volcanic Eruption in Gamber, Indonesia saddened people the area was covered with gray ashes all over.
Seven people passed away due to a volcanic eruption in western Indonesia, May 22, 2016, Sunday.
Two additional people were in critical condition right now, officials say.
Authorities are still warning the people for possible eruption that may occur.
North Sumatra, province in the west, is where Mt. Sinabung erupted, rising its ashes three kilometers high, or two miles above, according to Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman of National Disaster Management Agency.
He also said that ashes spread along the slopes and roads, reaching 4.5 kilometers (3 miles) that far, to the river.
All of the v1ctims were farmers in their respective villages of Gamber, 2.5 miles away fr0m the sl0pe.

Sutopo said: “It is not immediately clear how many people were in Gamber because when the mountain spewed clouds of hot ash, there was not supposed to be any activity in the area.”
Mount Sinabung is one of the country’s mos active volcanoes and the last eruption occurred in 2014, k1lling more than 12 persons and several residents evacuated the area.
There are indeed 120 active volcanoes in Gamber, since Indonesia is located along the Pacific Rim of Fire.

Random rescuers were in search operations throughout the area, finding other survivors or villagers within the danger zone.
Mt. Sinabung started to be active in 2010, after being silent for four centuries in the past.
