The country’s largest and most popular TV network ABS-CBN asks netizens and the fans and followers of Mayor Duterte of who among the actors they want to portray for Mayor Duterte in a highly anticipated episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). The Kapamilya Channel hinted on the possible airing of Mayor Duterte’s life story by sharing an information on their official social media account.
Netizens were excited for the possible showing of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s life story in the country’s longest-running drama anthology MMK which is narrated by veteran host Charo Santos-Concio.
Mayor Duterte’s fans and followers on social media which estimated at more than 14 million Facebook users are hoping that the story of the Davao City Mayor will be accurate as it served as inspiration for the future generations.
Some sources working at the Kapamilya Channel revealed that ABS-CBN is now looking forward for a possibility of making Efren Reyes as the lead actor who will portray the role of Mayor Duterte but the Kapamilya Channel did not release an announcement yet regarding the rumors.
The MMK story featuring Mayor Rody Duterte of Davao City will be centered on his childhood days, the 1989 Davao hostage crisis, death of his mother and his presidential run in the 2016 national elections.
There are no still announcement from ABS CBN about the date of the said MMK Episode about Rody Duterte, but the supporters of Duterte is very confident that the Duterte Episode of MMK is real and coming soon.
