Following the comments given by most netizens on the “Fight of Century’, Dionesia Pacquiao, the mother of the Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao also aired her side to what seemed to be an unfair match.
“Alam ko na hindi sila papaya matalo. Ganyan ang ugali nila. Ang ginawa ni Mayweather, runner. Parang daga siya,” she said.
Though her son was not able to put blemish on the record of Floy mayweather Jr., the pacman’s mother was still thankful considering that her son was the champ in the hearts of many boxing fans.
“Ang lahat ng mga kapwa Pilipino, kahit hindi Pilipino, narinig ko sabi ‘Ikaw pa rin, Manny.’ May Mexicano din na kumausap sa amin na si Manny pa rin ang kampyon nila,” she said.
The older Pacquiao reiterated she wants her son to retire from his sports.
The judges scored the bout 118-110, 116-112, and 116-112 giving the favor to Mayweather.
