Following her phenomenal live performance on ABS-CBN’s “It’s Show Time”, Morisette Amon has been questioned of her rendition of Ariana Grande’s hit “Break Free”, now she aired her side.
“Kasi sabi po nila nag lip sync po ako sa Showtime when I did Ariana Grande’s ‘Break Free.’ Maybe nasabi po nila yun dahil siguro parang mahirap po kasi talaga ang pagsi-sing and dance and I think at that performance stable po ‘yung boses ko, hindi nagsha-shake so parang lip sync pero ako po I owe it to the audience that I give them a live performance like singing so talagang live po ‘yun.”, she clarified.
The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 semi-finalist also confessed that she was struggling to keep her heavy breathing unnoticeable during the performance.
The noon time show hosts during her performance aired sometime in January gave praises to Amon’s performance saying that the singer’s vocals did not falter despite dancing and singing from one side of the stage to another.
As a rising performer, the 18-year old singer admitted that she is still young and there is more to be discovered of her and that there are more of herself that she can share to her audience.
Amon has just released her first self-titled album under Star Music.
