The Philippine representative to this year’s Miss Universe beauty pageant, shared her official interview video for the Miss Universe. The video of the Miss Philippines candidate was uploaded on the official YouTube Page of Miss Universe and got positive feeback from her Filipino supporters.

Mary Jean Lastimosa opened u pher past at the start of the interview video, that already amassed more than 100K views as of posting time. According to MJ Lastimosa she fought hard for her education and revealed to the public that her family first moved to Saudi Arabia before she was left with her uncle in the country.
MJ Lastimosa told the Miss Universe that she was just seven years old when her mom and dad decided to migrate to Saudi Arabia, but because her mother believed that education is more better here in the Philippines, the family decided to leave MJ here at the care of her loving uncle.
The North Cotabato beauty queen decided to study in the province as they moved to the province to finish her studies. MJ revealed that moving to Cotabato is like she’s living in a war zone, with lots of chaos.
During her school days one of her male classmates even doubted that she will be able to finish college with an engineering degree, but she was able to succeed and that what made her parents so proud of her scholastic achievement.
MJ Lastimosa is currently preparing for the highly anticipated coronation night of the 63rd Miss Universe in Miami on January 25 (January 26 in Manila).
