The Philippine weather bureau, released an Hourly Update of Bagyong Ruby (Hagupit) as of Friday, December 5, 2014. Based on PAGASA’s weather bulletin which was issued at 5:00 AM today until 5:00 AM Tomorrow, the agency released their forecasts and typhoon track of Bagyong Ruby.

According to PAGASA’s latest weather update, as of 4:00 AM today, December 5, 2014, the eye of typhoon “Ruby” was located on all available data at 500 km East or Borongan, Eastern Samar, with maximum sustained winds of 215 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph, moving west northwest at 15 kph.

PAGASA already issued a Public Storm Warning Signals in some areas of the Visayas Region, Mindanao and Southern Luzon. As of 5:00 AM today, Signal No. 2 is raised in Eastern Visayas, including Northern Cebu, and Eastern Mindano while Signal No. 1 is currently raised at the Bicol Region, MIMAROPA and Western Visayas.
Bagyong Ruby (Hagupit) is forecast to move West Northwest at 13 kph affecting most areas of the Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Western Visayas and Southern part of Luzon, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA areas.
PAGASA released its forecasts that the Eastern Visayas, CARAGA Region, the Province of Sorsogon, Northern Cebu, Cebu City and the islands of Bantayan, Camotes and Ticao, Provinces Misamis Oriental, Camiguin and Romblon will have rains with gusty winds and the coastal areas will be rough to very rough.
