One of ABS-CBN’ sought-after actors Jericho Rosales gave his unsolicited advice to the famous teen love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, who are set to star in the remake of the hit series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
The phenomenal primetime series was orginally starred by Jericho Rosales and award-winning actress Kristine Hermosa. It runs from 2000 to 2002 on kapamilya network.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the former “Legal Wife” actor said the rumored couple should have fun in the set, admitting that he and Kristine Hermosa have undergone a lot of challenges during the shoot.
“Have fun, enjoy lang. Kasi kami ni Kristine nung time na ‘yon, ang daming challenges noong simula. Shooting namin noon ay hindi kumportable. Nag-sisimula kami 27 hours, minsan 30 hours, it’s purely hard work, sweat and blood. Hindi pa kami ni Kristine noon, hindi pa kami mag-on noon kumbaga, magka-away pa nga kami noon,” he said.
Jericho Rosales also said that they should be nice to the people around them, especially to the staff. He also said that they should try to be professional and always think of the people they inspire through the soap.
According to the 35-year-old actor, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla is deserving to do the remake, noting that they have a lot of fans. He is also looking forward to watching other cast that will be part of the upcoming project.
Jericho Rosales admitted also that he was offered a role in the series but he refused to accept it since he just wanted to watch it without his character in the story.
