The kapamilya actor and heartthrob Sam Milby opened up about the actress Shaina Magadayao, whom he was romantically with, during his live interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” aired on September 1, 2014.

Sam Milby admitted that he sought the blessing of Shaina Magdayao’s ex-boyfriend John Prats on possibly courting the former child star two years ago. However, no feelings were developed between them at the time.
Shaina Magdayao and John Prats became a couple in 2008 but reportedly broke up in 2009. The kapamilya star had a relationship also with the box-office actor John Lloyd Cruz and separated in 2012.
Last month, Sam Milby and Shaina Magdayao admitted that they have been seeing each other regularly because of their common friends.
When asked about the real score between them, Sam Milby said that he doesn’t want to do something that could destroy their friendship. The 30-year-old actor wanted to keep mum about their relationship, admitting that he doesn’t know how to answer questions so he was sometimes misinterpreted.
“Actually, nahihiya ako kay Shaina. Kilala niyo ako, hindi talaga ako magaling sumagot sa mga tanong. That’s the honest truth. And I feel so bad… It comes off wrong sometimes. And ako, I really value my friendship with Shaina,” he said.
Although they are not exclusively dating yet, Sam Milby noted that their friendship is growing and he is happy about it,.
