After being nominated by Billy Crawford to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Vhong Navarro accepted and did the challenge on Showtime which is aired Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Actually, he already did the challenge but it was shown the day after.
After he was drenched by a cold water, Navarro then nominated actor John Lloyd Cruz, Pba star Arwin Santos and Robin Padilla which according to him is his idol. He did the challenge and he also donated to the ALS Association.
Anne Curtis and children of Direk Bobet Vidanes also did the challenge. Specifically, they are Ara, Kobi and Chad.

On the other hand, action star Robin Padilla already did the challenge with his wife Mariel Padilla. Here is the video posted in her intagram account. Actress Paula Peralejo also did the ice bucket challenge. She also posted a message for those who don’t want to be challenged because of the fact that there’s no ALS Association in the country.

Seems that local celebrities are already making their ways to help in promoting people’s awareness for the ALS disease and for the global campaign to raise funds in ALS.
