The highly anticipated comedy movie of the year featuring veteran actress Pokwang and hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo titled “My Illegal Wife,” already released their first official trailer. The three-minute clip tells the story of Clarise (Pokwang), and a stranger Henry (Zanjoe Marudo).

The movie tells about the story of Clarise, a single mother who hopes to find a father figure for her two kids. The trailer showcased Pokwang stranded in an island with a stranger Henry whom the single mother taught that the perfect opportunity comes when they meet with each other.
Zanjoe Marudo portrayed the role of Henry who suffered from an amnesia, Clarise seized the opportunity of her dreams by convincing Henry that they were married.
The movie “My Illegal Wife” features Pokwang (Clarise) who gives an elaborated story of her romance with Henry by putting together various scenes from different Star Cinema movies to form the narrative.
Some of the movies spoof by Clarise were the movies “It Takes a Man and a Woman”, “She’s the One” and “Bride for Rent” to name a few. The trailer of the movie “My Illegal Wife” also features some scenes from the movie “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo”, and “Starting Over Again.”
The movie My Illegal Wife also features Ellen Adarna, Empoy, Edgar Allan Guzman, Joy Viado, Mikylla Ramirez, Steven de Guzman, Anita Linda, Beauty Gonzales, and Pooh. The Illegal Wife is directed by Tony Reyes and produced by Skylight Films and Star Cinema, the movie will hit cinemas nationwide starting on June 11, 2014.
