Exactly three nights before her concert with 2NE1 at the Mall of Asia Arena, the “Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas” visited her former mother studio ABS-CBN for an exclusive interview video with Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino.
The 29-year-old Sandara Park rose to fame during the year 2004 when she finished as runner-up of ABS-CBN’s “Star Circle Quest” and made some appearances in various TV shows and movies in the country before returning to Korea to pursue her career as a singer.
Sandara Park wore a black dress and an oversized hat during the interview and told the hosts that “Na-miss ko po kayo!” she said. Boy Abunda revealed to the media that Sandara Park requested him to interview the singer in Tagalog.
The whole interview video of Sandara Park lasted for about 9 minutes and the soft-spoken Sandara or Dara for her 2NE1 fans answered questions fluently in Tagalog language.
Sandara Park revealed during the interview that she worked hard and underwent rigorous training to become a K-Pop star. She noted that she worked for two years without pay, but right now she thankfully admitted that all her sacrifices paid off.
Although Sandara Park is now known worldwide as K-Pop superstar, and gets to travel for shows overseas she has not forgotten her roots in the Philippines. Dara noted that she remains in constant communication with her Filipino friends and even regularly watches movies produced her.
Before Sandara Park’s concert at MOA Arena with 2NE1, she will also make a guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” on Thursday night, and during its afternoon primetime telecast “PBB Uber.”
