Our live coverage of the San Mig Coffee Mixers vs. Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters Game 1 will start before kick-off. The title playoff between the Talk ‘N Text dynasty and the underdog San Mig Coffee Mixers is considered by basketball experts as one of the real battle for the ages.
The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters dominated the second conference of the PBA this year with their unblemished record and reached the finals of the 2014 PLDT Home TVolution PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best-of-Five Finals. Both teams wanted to improve their legacy, the Coffee Mixers is the former Purefoods team that dominated the All Filipino Conference during the early 90’s.
Both teams took different routes before they enter the finals, the San Mig Coffee Mixers secured a finals slot after they defeated Air21 Express while the Tropang Texters made it to the finals by sweeping the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
Talk ‘N Text will try to pursue a perfect conference records while the Coffee Mixers wanted to make a statement and are chasing for a third straight title in the series as Game 1 begins tonight, May 9, 2014.
